Job summary

Jobot is seeking a CNC Programmer/Manufacturing Engineer for a leading aerospace manufacturer in Parsippany, NJ. You will plan, develop production methods, and perform CNC programming across multi-axis centers to support overhaul and repair.

The role requires a BS in engineering and 2–5 years in manufacturing engineering; familiarity with Creo CAD and GD&T; Lean techniques; and the ability to collaborate with technicians, machinists, suppliers, and customers.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent with 2–5 years in manufacturing engineering; internships/Co-ops considered.
• Familiarity with CAD (Creo or equivalent) and GD&T drawing standards; Lean Manufacturing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, and implements production methods and cell setup, including layout, routers and build books for all products.
• Coordinates acquisition of needed equipment and tooling.
• Applies Industrial Engineering concepts to improve layout and process flow.
• Develops and maintains production standards.
• CNC programming for multi-axis centers (3–5 axis mills, CNC lathes, Swiss, gear hobbers).
• Troubleshoots mechanical/electrical issues and test failures.
• Reviews drawings for manufacturability; writes ECOs as required.
• Witnesses and evaluates acceptance tests to verify product performance and test procedures.
• Implements continuous improvement opportunities and builds manufacturing BOMs.
