Job summary

The aerospace precision manufacturing client requires an experienced CNC Programmer to develop, test, and optimize CNC machining programs for milling operations. You will collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality to ensure efficient processes, accurate programming, and continuous improvements.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of CNC programming experience, strong CAD/CAM skills, and the ability to interpret complex drawings and GD&T.

Qualifications

Associate's Degree preferred (Engineering or Manufacturing Technology).
Minimum 5 years CNC Programming experience.
Strong experience programming CNC milling machines.
Proficiency with CAD software and CNC programming.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

Create and optimize CNC programs for milling operations.
Program custom components and tooling for production applications.
Develop machining methods and tooling strategies.
Set up and support CNC milling machines during production.
Test, troubleshoot, and validate CNC programs on production equipment.
Modify programs to reflect engineering changes and product revisions.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machining efficiency.
Maintain programming documentation and revision control.
Support process improvements to reduce cycle times and improve quality.
Ensure all programs meet safety, quality, and customer requirements.
