Job summary

LeoForce in Meriden, CT, is hiring a CNC Programmer for aerospace manufacturing. You will drive programming and process optimization for complex 3-, 4-, and 5-axis parts while the facility undergoes technology upgrades.

You will influence how new machines, tooling, and workflows are rolled out, impacting efficiency, quality, and growth. The role requires experience with Siemens NX or Mastercam and strong GD&T skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC programming experience, minimum 3-axis.
• Proficiency in Siemens NX (Unigraphics) (preferred) or Mastercam, and strong GD&T skills
• Demonstrated ability to build programs from scratch, and understand tooling and materials

Responsibilities

• Create and optimize 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC programs in Siemens NX
• Select tooling, set speeds and feeds, and establish cutting strategies
• Perform simulations, prove-outs, and troubleshooting to ensure first-article success
• Develop setup sheets and process documentation that meet AS9100 standards
• Reduce cycle times and lead continuous-improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with production, quality, and supply-chain teams during equipment ramp-up
