Job summary

DRT Aerospace, LLC is seeking a seasoned CNC Programmer to join our aerospace manufacturing team. You will develop 3-, 4-, and 5-axis programs, interpret complex blueprints with GD&T, and drive tooling selection, speeds/feeds, and cutting strategies to optimize production.

The role offers hands-on work with advanced CNC machines, exposure to AS9100 standards, and opportunities to drive continuous improvements across tooling, processes, and cycle times.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years CNC programming experience (3-axis minimum).
• Siemens NX (Unigraphics) experience required.
• Strong GD&T and blueprint reading.
• Experience building programs from scratch.

Responsibilities

• CNC programming using Siemens NX (NX Unigraphics).
• Develop 3, 4 & 5-axis CNC programs.
• Interpret blueprints and GD&T.
• Drive tooling selection, speeds/feeds, and cutting strategy.
• Support simulation, prove-outs, and troubleshooting.
• Improve cycle time and machining efficiency.
• Create setup sheets and process documentation.
• Support AS9100 aerospace quality standards.
