Job summary

Marion Tool & Die seeks an experienced aerospace precision machinist/engineer to develop and optimize end-to-end manufacturing processes across CNC milling, finishing, and assembly. You will specify tooling and process parameters to hit tight tolerances and surface finish requirements.

Candidate should have strong GD&T interpretation and data-driven mindset, with a track record in reducing cycle times and scrap while supporting CAM programming and floor-level troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience developing end-to-end manufacturing processes for aerospace parts.
• Strong problem solving and root cause analysis.
• Experience with data-driven process validation.
• Ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience with AS9100 or aerospace quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize end-to-end manufacturing processes for precision aerospace components.
• Specify tooling, fixturing, and process parameters to hit tight tolerances.
• Reduce cycle times and scrap through robust experimentation.
• Create or support CNC programs in CAM and provide hands-on floor support.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering and Quality teams.
• Assess new CNC equipment and capital projects.
