Marion Tool & Die, Inc. dba Marion Manufacturing is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to own end-to-end aerospace production on CNC mills, lathes and multi-axis machines.

You will specify tooling, fixturing and process parameters to hit tight tolerances and surface finishes, drive cycle-time reductions, and ensure AS9100 documentation while collaborating with Design, Quality, and Supply Chain, and supporting capital projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent).
• 3–7 years in aerospace or precision machining environments.
• Fluency in interpreting complex engineering drawings and GD&T.

Responsabilités

• Develop and optimize end-to-end manufacturing processes for precision aerospace components.
• Specify tooling, fixturing, and process parameters to hit tight tolerances and surface finishes.
• Reduce cycle times, improve yields, and minimize scrap through data-driven experiments.
• Create or support CNC programs in CAM and provide floor support on the shop floor.
• Troubleshoot cutting issues including tool wear and chatter.
• Maintain rigorous process documentation aligned with AS9100 and customer requirements.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conformances.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives; improve Cp/Cpk to stabilize processes.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering for DFM and early producibility improvements.
• Interface with Quality, Production, and Supply Chain and with customers/auditors as required.
• Assess and introduce new CNC equipment, tooling, and technologies; support capital projects.
