Optisys is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead CNC machining activities in a high-mix, low-volume environment. You will oversee tooling, processes, programming, and continuous improvement while coordinating with design, quality, and production teams to ensure manufacturable, repeatable products.

The role requires expertise in CNC programming, GD&T, PFMEA, and lean manufacturing practices, with responsibility for first-article builds, process validation, and cross-functional collaboration to

Qualifications

• CNC CAM programming and master process development.
• Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action.
• PFMEA (Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis).
• Advanced interpretation of engineering drawings and specifications using GD&T.

Responsabilités

• Own all machining operations with multiple CNC milling machines and engine lathe.
• Serve as internal technical authority for machining and fabrication supporting data links and array products.
• Lead first-article and prototype builds, establishing repeatable processes for follow-on production.
• Ensure CNC post processors are accurate and aligned with machine requirements.
• Coordinate with design engineering on manufacturability for new releases and robust GD&T.
• Participate in design reviews to ensure tolerances and specs are achievable.
