Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and monitor CNC milling machines (Zimmermann systems)
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD/CAM files
• Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs (G-code/M-code)
• Perform tool selection, changes and offsets for accuracy
• Conduct first-article inspections and in-process quality checks
• Identify and resolve machine faults and program errors
• Maintain production records and machine utilization reports
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards
• Mentor junior operators as needed
