Job summary

PPG is seeking an Aerospace CNC Production Operator in Grand Prairie, TX. The role pays $24.84 per hour for 2nd shift (1:30 PM – 10:00 PM) and requires access to information subject to ITAR regulations.

You will set up, operate, and maintain CNC machinery and production equipment, ensuring safe, efficient production and quality output. Responsibilities include equipment preparation, troubleshooting, regular maintenance, and assisting junior operators.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to operate CNC and other production machinery.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and mandatory compliance obligations.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing production equipment, including machining, processing, assembly, or packaging.
• Prepare the production equipment and supplies before executing job orders.
• Operate equipment safely and effectively for production processing.
• Ensure equipment is maintained in good and safe working condition.
• Inspect equipment to identify any required replacements, malfunctions, or repairs.
• Perform regular maintenance to guarantee production capacity and quality.
• Assist junior operators in their responsibilities.
• Repair and clean equipment when needed.
• Evaluate equipment performance and recommend improvements.
• Operate trucks and other industrial vehicles to transfer equipment between warehouse and work area.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation.
