Job summary

Primus Aerospace in Lakewood, CO is seeking skilled CNC Machinists (I/II/Setup) to join a high‑tolerance aerospace team. Ideal candidates have CNC operator experience, GD&T print reading, and metrology basics with calipers and micrometers.

Responsibilities include operating CNC mills per work orders, verifying dimensions, meeting cycle times, and completing paperwork. Aerospace experience and lean manufacturing familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous CNC operator experience
• 3 years experience with machine set-ups (Setup Machinist level)
• Reading blueprints
• Using hand tools and metrology instruments
• Attention to detail and quality focus
• Experience in aerospace or defense machining preferred (lean manufacturing preferred)

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines per work instructions from work orders or setup personnel
• Verify dimensional characteristics of parts
• Meet cycle times and production schedules
• Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner
