Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical/vocational certificate or associate degree preferred.
• 5+ years hands-on CNC machining in manufacturing.
• Experience with large-format/gantry CNC milling systems.
• Strong CNC control systems knowledge and GD&T expertise.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and monitor CNC milling machines, esp. Zimmermann systems.
• Read/interpret engineering drawings and CAD/CAM files to determine machining needs.
• Write/edit CNC programs (G-code/M-code) for complex geometries.
• Perform tool selection, changes, and offsets for accuracy.
• Conduct first-article inspections and in-process quality checks.
• Identify and resolve machine faults and program errors.
• Maintain production records and machine utilization logs.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental standards.
