Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a CNC Operator to program, set up, and operate CNC equipment for manufacturing precision aerospace components. This hands-on role includes machine setup, tooling, troubleshooting, quality inspections, and maintaining production standards in a safe environment.

The position offers a 3rd shift (10:00 PM - 6:30 AM) with overnight shift differential and a $1,000 sign-on bonus. You will also document production logs and mentor fellow operators as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience setting up and operating CNC machining equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, travelers, and work instructions.
• Proficiency with gauges and precision measuring tools.
• English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, tool, and operate CNC and conventional machine tools.
• Create and install tooling, cutters, grinding wheels, electrodes, and shop aids as required.
• Adjust machine offsets and modify programs to meet production needs.
• Apply machining theory and best practices to meet quality and productivity goals.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and process issues to maintain efficiency.
• Inspect parts using gauges and meeting specifications; read blueprints and travelers.
