Job summary

Aerotek in Arlington, WA is seeking a Machine Operator to run NC mills and lathes fabricating aerospace components. You will read blueprints, verify part quality with calipers and micrometers, and follow strict procedures to ensure performance and safety.

The role requires experience in a machine shop, familiarity with M- and G-codes, and strong attention to detail. It is a contract-to-hire onsite position with competitive hourly wages.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC mills and lathes in a production environment.
• Ability to read manufacturing drawings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with M- and G-codes and basic machine language.
• Proficient with measurement tools and basic Windows tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate NC machines and machining centers to fabricate aerospace parts.
• Inspect first part for quality and conformance to specs.
• Read drawings and follow established processes to meet standards.
• Maintain safety and keep workstation organized and clean.
• Document and communicate any machine or tooling issues to supervision.
