Job summary

Parker Aerospace is seeking an experienced Aerospace Machinist in Kent, WA to set up, operate, and maintain precision machining equipment for aircraft components. Read drawings, meet tight tolerances, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

The role includes day and weekend shifts, with responsibilities spanning setup, operation, inspection, and documentation in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Reads blueprints, sketches and specifications to perform machining.
• Familiar with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and precision instrumentation.
• Ability to perform shop mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC on manual machines.
• Complete non-complex setups and operations.
• Inspect parts and ensure quality per specifications.
• Follow drawings, schedules and documents.
• Maintain documentation in manufacturing planning and timecard system.
• Use precision instruments to check tolerances.
