Precision Castparts Corp. - Carson City is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist capable of full setups on lathes and mills. You will read engineering docs, select tooling, and maintain tolerances while documenting results. Growth toward supervisory roles is encouraged and supported through development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of machining experience in a production environment.
• Full setup and operating experience with both CNC lathes and mills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, process sheets, and GD&T.
• Familiarity with CNC programming and controls such as Fanuc, Haas, or equivalent systems.
• Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, gauges, dial indicators, and other precision measuring tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Independently complete full setups and operate CNC lathes and milling machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, process sheets, engineering requirements, and GD&T.
• Select, install, and adjust tooling, fixtures, and machine parameters.
• Load and align materials and workpieces to produce parts within required tolerances.
• Run sample parts, verify results, and make necessary adjustments before continuing production.
• Inspect finished work using micrometers, calipers, gauges, dial indicators, and other precision measuring tools.
• Document inspection results, production information, and machine adjustments accurately.
