Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a machinist familiar with turning machines to Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis equipment. The role requires reading blueprints, adjusting processes, and maintaining records in a safety-focused shop environment.

The position offers a Monday–Friday 6am–2:15pm shift, with a pay range of 22–33 USD per hour and eligibility for a quarterly bonus, PTO, holidays, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Willingness to learn.
• Experience with tight tolerances and high-precision parts.
• Knowledge of tooling, feeds, speeds, and materials.
• Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or multi-axis).
• Load programs, install tooling, and set work offsets.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
• Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
• Follow safety, quality, and company procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and supervisors to improve processes.
