Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) is seeking a CNC Machinist in Carson City, NV to set up and operate CNC lathes and mills, producing precision components per blueprints and process sheets.

This role emphasizes quality, safety, and adherence to production standards in a 1st shift, on-site environment. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of CNC machining experience, be proficient with GD&T, and able to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of CNC machining experience in production.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.
• Familiarity with Fanuc, Haas or equivalent CNC programming.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Strong communication in English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills to produce precision components per drawings.
• Verify parameters, run samples, adjust tooling for quality and efficiency.
• Inspect parts with micrometers, calipers, gauges; document results and adjustments.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Update production and quality systems; read and follow process sheets and QCPs.
