Job summary

Micro-Tronics, Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist II to safely set up and operate multiple CNC machines for precision aerospace components. You will read blueprints, interpret GD&T, and troubleshoot processes with minimal supervision in a high-accuracy environment.

The role requires strong inspection skills, G&M codes proficiency, and multi-axis/live-tooling experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; CAD/CAM familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years setting up and running CNC equipment.
• Minimum 4+ years precision machining experience.
• Experience with G & M codes, tool geometry, and offsets.
• Strong GD&T and precision inspection skills.
• Proficiency in machine shop mathematics.
• Exposure to CAD/CAM desirable.
• Experience with multi-axis and live-tooling machine tools.
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls; other brands desirable.
• Must have sufficient personal tools to perform job.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment and adhere to 5S and safety guidelines.
• Follow company instructions and quality standards; log data daily.
• Perform in-process inspections using precision tools and report non-conformances.
• Set up and run jobs with minimal supervision for aerospace components.
• Maintain and log maintenance tasks; track process data in systems.
• Deburr, clean, and package parts; troubleshoot tooling and programs as needed.
• Monitor production metrics and drive continuous improvement.
