Job summary

Micro-Tronics is seeking a CNC Machinist II - Mills to join our team in Tempe, AZ. You will set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce high-precision aerospace components, reading blueprints and GD&T, and conducting in-process inspections.

The role requires strong experience with setups, tool offsets, and quality control in a production environment, plus the ability to troubleshoot and maintain consistent quality. Safety and 5S are emphasized.

Qualifications

3+ years CNC machining experience, including setups.
Strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills.
Experience with precision inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, comparators).
Familiarity with Fanuc; HAAS/Doosan/Brother is a plus.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce parts per blueprints and specifications.
Interpret blueprints and GD&T to ensure accurate machining.
Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools.
Monitor machining processes and adjust for tool wear, offsets, and quality control.
Troubleshoot machining issues and support process improvements.
Record production data, including setup/run times and part quantities.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure equipment is operating properly.
Deburr, clean, and package finished parts; maintain 5S standards.
Collaborate with leads and quality teams to resolve non-conformances.
