Align Percision is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up, operate, and maintain milling and turning centers for aerospace and defense components. You will read drawings, GD&T, and tool lists, ensuring tight tolerances and process traceability.

Ideal candidates have 5–6 years of CNC experience, a high school diploma with machining training, and proficiency with precision tools and ERP systems. Safety and quality come first in a controlled, audit-ready environment.

Qualifications

• 5-6 years of CNC machining experience, preferably in aerospace and/or defense manufacturing.
• High school diploma or equivalent with advanced machining or technical training.
• Strong understanding of aerospace drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges).
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and manufacturing documentation practices.
• Familiarity with FAI and quality documentation is a plus.
• Understanding of AS9100, ITAR, or other regulated environments is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling and turning centers for aerospace/defense components.
• Interpret routings, blueprints, GD&T, tool lists, and work instructions with accuracy.
• Select and align cutting tools, fixtures, and work-holding devices for aerospace materials.
• Monitor feeds, speeds, and offsets to meet tight tolerance requirements.
• Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments.
• Deburr and finish parts to aerospace standards per specs.
• Document production data and inspections in the ERP system for traceability.
• Set up and run low to high complexity parts; support prototypes and first articles.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality to troubleshoot and improve processes.
• Participate in continuous improvement, lean initiatives, and audits.
• Maintain a clean, organized, audit-ready workspace following safety rules.
