Leidos Defense Systems Colorado Manufacturing in Colorado Springs is seeking a CNC Machinist to join our team. You will program, set up and operate CNC mills and CNC lathes on aerospace-grade components, reading engineering drawings and verifying tolerances to tight print specs.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of precision machining experience on CNC mills and CNC lathes, strong shop math, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of precision machining on CNC Mills and CNC Lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and basic work instructions.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools and precision measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Read engineering drawings and set up and operate CNC lathes as primary responsibility.
• Setup and run machines on multiple operations; verify dimensions with gauges.
• Maintain tolerances within print specifications.
• Ability to work overtime and across projects in a fast-paced environment.
