RTX Corporation in Colorado is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to operate and set up 4-axis milling machines, producing high-precision components from engineering drawings.

You will program and operate CNC and manual machines, interpret GD&T, measure parts, and ensure quality and EH&S standards. The role requires 6+ years of experience, an AA/AS, and eligibility for DoD clearance.

Formación

• AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.
• Proven experience operating and programming 4-axis CNC milling machines in a high-precision environment.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of aerospace industry standards preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong commitment to EH&S and Quality standards.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and set up 4-axis CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components.
• Program, assemble, and operate CNC or manual machines and other equipment.
• Interpret blueprints, work orders, drawings, and GD&T for material and dimensional requirements.
• Take measurements and select appropriate machines for the process.
• Perform machining setups and adjustments as required.
• Maintain records and adhere to quality/safety standards.
• Complete purchasing and shipping tasks.
• Support laboratory testing and analysis as needed.
• Follow all EH&S and Quality guidelines.
• Work extended shifts/overtime as required by the business.
