Collins Aerospace is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate and program 4-axis CNC milling machines, ensuring parts meet engineering drawings and GD&T specifications. You will interpret complex blueprints, prepare setups, select proper tooling, and maintain rigorous quality and safety records in a high-precision environment.

The role requires an AA/AS degree with 6+ years of relevant experience and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Competenze

• AA/AS degree or equivalent post-high school training with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.
• Proven experience operating and programming 4-axis CNC milling machines in high-precision engineering environments.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of aerospace industry standards is highly desirable.

Mansioni

• Operate and set up 4-axis CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components per drawings and specs.
• Program, assemble, and operate CNC or manual machines and other specialized equipment.
• Interpret blueprints, orders, engineering plans, GD&T, and tolerances for material and dimensional requirements.
• Take material measurements and select appropriate machines for processes.
• Perform machining setups and adjustments as required.
• Keep records and maintain quality and safety standards.
• Complete purchasing and shipping tasks.
• Support laboratory testing and analysis as needed.
• Follow EH&S and Quality guidelines and standards; work overtime as needed.
