Job summary

Howmet Aerospace in Winsted, CT is seeking a Multi‑Axis CNC Manufacturing Technician to build aerospace parts. You will own setups and operation on CNC grinding and milling centers across 3–4 axis VMCs and 5+ axis platforms, reading blueprints, and achieving tight tolerances through careful offset adjustments.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance and Tool Room to continuously improve, emphasizing safety, quality, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of related machining experience.
• Experience with CNC machining, grinding, milling, or multi-axis equipment.
• Advanced blueprint reading and inspection capability.

Responsibilities

• Own setups and operation on CNC grinding and milling centers (3–4 axis VMCs and 5+ axis platforms).
• Hit aerospace tolerances with precise measurements and tooling offsets.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance and Tool Room to continuously improve.
