Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a CMM Programmer to develop inspection programs for aerospace components. You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Design Engineering to create effective inspection processes and provide technical guidance across teams.

Key duties include programming multiple CMMs, reporting to engineering and operators, interpreting prints with GD&T, and developing fixtures and SPC feedback tools. You will mentor new staff and pursue advanced manufacturing tech.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent manufacturing experience as specified.
• Proficient in CMM programming and geometric tolerancing.
• Experience with shop mathematics and GD&T standards.
• This role may involve high risk operations and shifts; be 18+.

Responsibilities

• Program multiple CMMs supporting machining processes and products.
• Provide formatted reports for engineering and operators.
• Develop probing and fixturing solutions as needed.
• Mentor entry level personnel in CMM operation.
• Perform inspection as required and pursue process improvements.
