Job summary

Applied Aerospace & Defense is seeking a CMM Programmer/Inspector to join our Manchester, CT facility. The role focuses on developing and executing CMM inspection programs, validating results, and driving continuous improvements across quality processes.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years with CMMs (Modus/Camio preferred), GD&T knowledge, and the ability to train QC staff. This is a first-shift, full-time quality control position supporting aerospace components.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience in programming, operation, and full utilization of CMM equipment (Modus/Camio preferred).
• Ability to train QC personnel in CMM operation.
• ASQ certification and GD&T knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify product for CMM inspection
• Develop/Write part inspection programs for CMM
• Organize and control CMM inspection programs
• Troubleshoots product issues and supports manufacturing.
• Oversee dimensional inspection on CMM
• Identifies and recommends process improvements
• Interacts with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing
• Perform validation activities related to CMM inspection programs
• Perform CMM inspection on critical aerospace components
• Perform other related duties as assigned
