Job summary

Ascent Aerospace is seeking a CMM Operator in Michigan to assist in inspection and reporting of critical tool features for acceptance. The role requires extensive GD&T knowledge, CMM operation, and proficiency with hand tools and MS Office.

Responsibilities include creating inspection reports, documenting final inspection and shipment records, and supporting tool alignment and measurement confirmation. Travel to other site locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GD&T and measurement equipment required.
• Ability to read blueprints and procedures.
• Experience with CMMs and hand inspection tools.

Responsibilities

• Create inspection reports based on customer flow down of quality deliverables.
• Document and retain records of final inspection and shipment of tooling.
• Apply hand checks using micrometers, calipers, etc.
• Maintain and operate manual and DCC coordinate measuring machines.
• Support tool alignment, setting, and measurement confirmation.
• Provide guidance to key personnel based on findings.
• Any additional duties as assigned by management.
