Job summary

Ascent Aerospace is seeking a CMM Operator to assist in inspection and reporting of critical features for tool acceptance in a high-precision aerospace environment. You will create inspection reports, document final inspections and shipments, and apply hand checks using micrometers and calipers.

You will maintain and operate manual and DCC coordinate measuring machines, support tool alignment, and provide guidance to stakeholders based on findings.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and interpreting safety rules, blueprints and procedures.
• Knowledge of GD&T and measurement equipment required.
• Ability to use manual inspection equipment (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges).
• Proficiency with MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project.

Responsibilities

• Create inspection reports based on customer flow down of quality deliverables.
• Document and retain records of final inspection and shipment of tooling.
• Apply hand checks using micrometers and calipers.
• Maintain and operate manual and DCC coordinate measuring machines.
• Support tool alignment, setting, and measurement confirmation.
• Provide guidance to key personnel based on inspection findings.
