Job summary

The role requires reading blueprints, GD&T, and CAD models, plus experience with Romer Arm or portable measurement tools.

Qualifications

• Must read blueprints and GD&T callouts with accuracy.
• Experience with PC-DMIS for inspection programming.
• Ability to read CAD models and engineer drawings.
• Collaborate with CNC machinists to troubleshoot issues.
• Strong data entry and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate the CMM using PC-DMIS to inspect CNC components against drawings.
• Set up parts and fixtures to minimize production downtime.
• Run and adapt existing PC-DMIS programs for low-volume parts.
• Read blueprints and GD&T to verify conformance.
• Perform FAI, in-process, and final inspections as required.
• Document nonconformances and communicate with Quality and Production.
• Maintain AS9100D/ISO 9001 compliant inspection records.
• Perform routine CMM maintenance and calibration checks.
• Collaborate with CNC machinists and programmers to troubleshoot fit issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
