Job summary

K33 Full Time Union Indirect Precision Machine Works Inc. in Tacoma, WA seeks a CMM Inspector for the 2nd shift to monitor and measure quality on close tolerance aerospace machined parts.

The role involves operating a CMM, performing in-process, first article, and final inspection, and providing accurate dimensional feedback to support teams. The candidate should have at least 5 years of inspection experience, preferred aerospace exposure, and strong reading of blueprints with GD&T tolerancing.

Qualifications

• 5 years of prior machine shop inspection experience.
• Aerospace experience preferred.
• Reading blueprints and GD&T tolerancing.
• Ability to document inspection results clearly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Operate CMM and advanced inspection equipment.
• Inspect parts and assemblies for conformance to drawings and specifications.
• Record inspection results in written records and computer databases.
• Verify external parts and in-house processes for compliance with P.O. and drawings.
• Prove out new CMM programs and provide dimensional feedback to Engineering.
• Perform and document AS9102 First Article inspections as required.
