Job summary

Eaton’s IS AER FMC division seeks a CMM Quality Inspector on 2nd shift at Irvine, CA. Responsibilities include receiving, in-process and final inspections of aerospace components using CMM and precision tools to verify conformance to drawings and customer specs.

The role requires AS9102 familiarity and experience with GD&T. Candidate must have 2+ years CMM experience in a regulated aerospace environment and reside within 50 miles of Irvine (92618).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year minimum experience in quality inspection.
• 2 years hands-on experience operating CMM equipment in aerospace or regulated environment.
• Must reside within 50 miles of Irvine, CA facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, first article, and final dimensional/visual inspections of aerospace components using CMM and precision tools.
• Review paperwork used in acceptance of product and generate inspection reports.
• Interpret drawings, GD&T and customer specifications to determine inspection methods.
