Job summary

Triumph Geared Solutions - Macomb is seeking an Inspector (CMM) to perform in-process and final inspections on machined parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies in the Quality Department. The role requires ability to perform First Article Inspections per quality work instructions.

The candidate will read blueprints, use micrometers and calipers, and ensure inspections meet engineering requirements. Strong attention to detail and experience in aerospace/defense manufacturing are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience performing inspections in aerospace or military/defense manufacturing.
• Minimum Experience 2 Years CMM Inspection
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Strong problem solving and analysis skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft products and Excel.
• Outstanding punctuality and attendance.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform in process and final inspection on machined parts, and/or sub-assemblies.
• Complete inspections to engineering requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and customer blueprints.
• Use micrometers and calipers to perform First Article Inspections.
• Other duties as assigned.
