Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a CAD/Design Engineer to work on the MK1 Lunar Lander within the Lunar Permanence Business Unit. You will prepare layouts, create detailed drawings, release data using Creo and PLM tools, and support cross-functional teams to deliver world-class hardware.

The role emphasizes precision, data integrity, and collaboration. Experience with spacecraft primary and secondary structures, plus assembly and mounting hardware, is highly valued.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare design layouts, create detail part and assembly drawings/MBDs, and release data sets using CAD and PLM tools.
• Review engineering drawings to ensure alignment with specifications and standards.
• Support engineering teams in mechanical layout and detail design for fluids details and tube routing.
• Apply company design, drafting, and parts techniques to plan and maintain engineering data.
• Implement engineering/ manufacturing standard methodologies to balance cost, schedule and performance.
