Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace in South Windsor, CT, is seeking a Buyer II to manage purchasing activities with increasing independence. You will own assigned commodities, negotiate with suppliers, and collaborate with planning, engineering, quality, and operations to support production and cost objectives.

This 100% onsite role runs first shift 7:00 AM–3:30 PM and requires ERP/MRP-driven material orders, supplier coordination, data accuracy, and ongoing cost-reduction initiatives to improve readiness and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, operations, or related field with 3 years of purchasing/supply chain/manufacturing ops experience, or 5 years without degree.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. full-time without sponsorship now or in the future; visa sponsorship not offered.
• Ability to work under ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Orders production material using ERP/MRP and follows inventory guidelines.
• Coordinate PO quantities/delivery dates per production plan.
• Maintain purchasing records with accuracy and integrity.
• Update and archive quotations and purchase orders.
• Identify new suppliers to reduce costs and improve quality/service.
• Collaborate with planning, engineering, quality, and operations.
• Drive cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
