Ontic is seeking a Buyer II at the Chatsworth, CA location to drive end-to-end procurement in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will source suppliers, manage POs, and coordinate with Planning, Operations, Quality, and Engineering to meet production needs and mitigate material risks.

The role requires 2+ years in procurement in aerospace, familiarity with ITAR/EAR, and ERP/MRP systems. Competitive benefits and a performance-based bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of procurement or supply chain experience in manufacturing or aerospace.
• Knowledge of NDA handling and sensitive information.
• Familiarity with ITAR/EAR and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Experience with FAR/DFARS and related regulations.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority issues.

Responsabilités

• Solicit quotes from suppliers to assess pricing and delivery.
• Award POs and negotiate long-term pricing agreements.
• Perform cost/price analyses for procurements.
• Manage supplier schedules to align with production.
• Identify supply chain risks and implement mitigations.
• Collaborate with Planning and Value Streams to prioritize materials.
• Ensure compliance with processes, contracts, and regulatory standards.
• Support recovery plans for late or at-risk materials.
• Resolve invoice issues and coordinate changes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in supplier performance.
