Parker Aerospace in Danville, KY is seeking a Buyer I for aerospace procurement to support production and plant operations. You will process requisitions, manage supplier delivery and quality, solicit quotations, and negotiate favorable terms while ensuring contract compliance.

Required a bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of Buyer/Expeditor experience; SAP experience is desirable. Excellent communication skills and proficiency with MS Office are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required; major in Business or Engineering preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to drive tasks to completion.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and database management tools.

Responsabilités

• Process purchase requisitions into purchase orders in a timely manner with accurate PO info.
• responsible for commodity delivery and quality performance, including obtaining accurate delivery information from suppliers.
• Direct solicitation from suppliers using a formal inquiry format for quotations.
• Evaluate quotations and decide award of purchase order.
• Negotiate with suppliers to obtain lowest unit cost.
• Implement contractual documentation into purchase orders meeting corporate and government requirements.
• Maintain compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
• Provide regular reporting in areas of responsibility.
