Job summary

Ducommun Incorporated in Appleton, Wisconsin invites applications for a Business Development Director to lead sales initiatives and ensure achievement of the performance center sales plan. You will report directly to the Performance Center Director and drive bookings, win new business, and build backlog to support AOP and site long-range plans.

The role requires extensive aerospace market knowledge, strategic proposal development, and frequent travel to customer locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in business or engineering related discipline.
• Minimum 10+ years of sales experience in relevant markets with proven customer relations skills.
• Team oriented with a continuous improvement outlook.
• Ability to manage numerous projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of market trends, competitive actions, product needs, and customer base to support AOP and site objectives.
• Prepare and present sales and marketing proposals and perform technical presentations.
• Negotiate contracts and develop proposals as required.
• Establish sales goals and develop sales plans.
• Represent Ducommun Incorporated (DCO) at trade shows, conferences, seminars, and technical symposiums as required.
• Travel as required to support customer relationships and activities.
• Other duties as assigned
