Job summary

Ducommun is seeking a Business Development Director in Appleton, WI to ensure the annual sales plan (AOP) is achieved and will report to the Performance Center Director. The role drives and executes sales plans to win new business, build backlog, and support site LRP growth objectives.

The candidate will engage in market trend analysis, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, establish sales goals, and represent Ducommun at trade shows and conferences. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or engineering.
• 10+ years sales experience in relevant markets with proven customer relations.
• Team oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Drive and execute sales plans to achieve AOP and site growth.
• Prepare and present sales and marketing proposals and perform technical presentations.
• Negotiate contracts and develop proposals as required.
• Establish sales goals and develop sales plans.
• Represent Ducommun at trade shows, conferences, seminars, and technical symposiums as required.
• Travel up to 50% to support customer relationships and activities.
• Support proposal execution with appropriate performance center teams.
