Job summary

Apex Space, Inc. is seeking a Graphic Designer – Business Development to support proposals and presentations that win contracts across US Government, Commercial, and International Government markets.

You will create high-quality visuals, maintain brand consistency, and collaborate with Brand Design and cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of graphic design experience in technical domains, strong PowerPoint and Word skills, and the ability to communicate complex concepts

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in graphic design supporting a technical product and general business/administrative content.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, BD, marketing, etc.) under tight deadlines.
• Meticulous, proactive, and highly organized.
• Clear communicator whether communication is synchronous or asynchronous, in-person or virtual, written or spoken.
• Strong MS Word and PowerPoint skills.
• Coachable and team-oriented; ability to receive and offer constructive feedback that promotes individual and team success.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines.
• Figma experience (Nice to have).
• Direct experience in spacecraft or spacecraft-adjacent markets (Nice to have).

Responsibilities

• Create and edit graphics and images to support Apex’s responses to RFIs, RFPs, and other new business opportunities.
• Support the sales team in developing slide decks for current and prospective customers.
• Oversee the proposal development graphics library; monitor content for updates and communicate with internal stakeholders.
• Partner with Brand Design to ensure all graphics meet brand guidelines and elevate the brand.
• Act as a member of a cross-functional design collective to ensure design excellence and alignment.
• Communicate effectively with technical experts to translate concepts into digestible graphics.
• Develop a work cadence that demonstrates efficiency, quality, and collaboration.
• Produce high-caliber work on time, every time.
