Job summary

Apex Technology, Inc. is seeking a Graphic Designer – Business Development to support the BD team across US Government, Commercial, and International Government markets.

You will create high-quality graphics for proposals, presentations, and slide decks, helping to win contracts while aligning with brand standards. You’ll lead design requests, collaborate with Brand Design and UX, communicate clearly with engineers, and manage deadlines with meticulous organization.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in graphic design supporting a technical product and general business/administrative content.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, BD, marketing, etc.) under tight deadlines
• Meticulous, proactive, and highly organized
• Clear communicator whether communication is synchronous or asynchronous, in-person or virtual, written or spoken
• Strong MS Word and PowerPoint skills
• Coachable and team-oriented; ability to receive and offer constructive feedback that promotes individual and team success
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines
• Figma experience (Nice to have)
• Direct experience in spacecraft or spacecraft-adjacent markets (Nice to have)

Responsibilities

• Create and edit graphics and images to support Apex’s responses to RFIs, RFPs, and other new business opportunities.
• Support the sales team in developing slide decks for current and prospective customers.
• Oversee the proposal development graphics library; monitor content for needed updates, make needed updates, and communicate with internal stakeholders as warranted.
• Partner with the Brand Design (Marketing) to ensure that all graphics meet Apex’s brand guidelines and visually elevate Apex’s brand.
• Act as a member of a cross-functional design collective (Brand/Marketing, Business Development, and UX) to ensure company-wide design excellence and alignment.
• Communicate effectively with technical experts to effectively communicate technical concepts into easily digestible graphics and illustrations.
• Develop a work cadence that demonstrates efficiency, quality, and collaboration.
• Produce high-caliber work on time, every time.
