Job summary

Apex Technology, Inc. is seeking a Proposal Specialist to drive growth by crafting compelling submissions for US Government, Commercial, and International Government opportunities.

You will manage templates, content libraries, and collaborate with Business Development, Product, and Mission Management to transform complex technical concepts into persuasive proposals. You will own the proposal lifecycle from intake to final delivery, ensuring alignment with customer needs and company guidelines,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience writing, drafting, and editing proposals for US government or sophisticated aerospace & defense customers.
• Experience collaborating with engineering, BD, contracts under tight deadlines.
• Meticulous, proactive, and highly organized.
• Clear communicator in all formats (synchronous, asynchronous, in-person, or virtual).
• Solid writing and editing skills.
• Coachable and team-oriented; able to give/receive constructive feedback.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Direct experience in spacecraft or spacecraft-adjacent markets is a plus.
• Active Top Secret SCI clearance or willingness to attain.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary author of responses to RFIs, RFPs, and other new business opportunities.
• Oversee the entire proposal lifecycle and own final delivery of complete proposals including technical, cost, schedule, and other content.
• Translate technical concepts into easily digestible reading materials for varied audiences.
• Create persuasive content that showcases product strengths and solutions to address customer needs.
• Convert high-level details or rough drafts into high-impact content for proposals.
• Ensure work aligns with established guidelines and quality standards.
• Produce high-caliber work on time, every time.
