Job summary

Apex seeks a Proposal Specialist to drive growth by crafting compelling proposals across US Government, Commercial, and International Government markets. You will maintain productized templates and content, transforming technical concepts into persuasive materials for diverse buyers.

In this fast-paced role, you’ll collaborate with BD, Product, and Mission Management, manage deadlines, and ensure high-quality submissions while developing domain expertise in aerospace and defense proposals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of proposing experience for US government or aerospace & defense customers.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams under tight deadlines.
• Clear communicator with strong editing and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary author of responses to RFIs, RFPs, and other new business opportunities.
• Oversee and quarterback the entire proposal lifecycle, delivering complete proposals including technical, cost/price, and schedule content.
• Translate complex technical concepts into accessible reading materials for diverse audiences.
• Create persuasive content that showcases product strengths and customer solutions.
• Convert high-level details and rough drafts into high-impact proposal content.
• Align work with established guidelines and quality standards and deliver high-caliber work on time.
