Lockheed Martin in Englewood, CO is seeking an experienced Battery Engineer to support the D5LE2 Trident Missile development program. The role requires working as a technical authority within an IPT, delivering technical data for design reviews and advancing battery concepts for flight use.

You will be the primary interface for battery integration, collaborating with test, reliability, and procurement teams to ensure producible, compliant designs. A DoD clearance is required or attainable.

Competenze

Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
One year of general engineering experience in a regulated industry like Aerospace, Defence, Medical or similar.
Willing and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required

Mansioni

Coordinate with integration and test, requirements and verification, subcontracts, reliability, EMC, and survivability team members ensuring compliant designs developed with venders.
Provide producible designs that meet technical, cost, and schedule requirements, and work within the systems.
Designs and develops circuits used in electronic devices.
Responsible for layout and mask design, device evaluation and characterization, test box design, prototype construction and checkout, and determination of wafer fabrication processes.
Prepares test methods and specifications; analyzes equipment to establish operating data and conducts experimental tests; provides finished device approval; and prepares customer application information.
