Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Colorado is seeking a Mechanical, Harness & Parts Engineering Manager for the D5LE2 Tactical Avionics team. You will lead the engineering execution for MH&P hardware across enclosures, harnesses, connectors, and EEE parts, ensuring on-time deliverables and strong technical direction.

You should have a BS in Engineering, 2+ years of leadership in high-reliability aerospace, and an active DoD Secret clearance (US citizen).

Qualifications

• BS in Electromechanical, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering or related STEM degree.
• 2+ years of management or leadership experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance; US citizen required.

Responsibilities

• Manage application of electrical, electronic and mechanical principles to MH&P components and systems.
• Coordinate recruitment, selection and training; oversee design, test, fabrication and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems.
• Lead subcontracts actions including SOW, specs, RFP, and supplier technical direction.
• Oversee hardware build and test at suppliers and AI&T facility.
