Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Colorado is seeking a Circuit Design Engineer to develop battery designs for avionics subsystems, perform electrical analyses, and join a cross-functional team building world-class spacecraft systems.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance (US citizenship), and it is office-based with a 9x80 schedule; teleworking is not supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years professional experience.
• Ability and desire to obtain a Secret clearance which requires US Citizenship.
• Experience in battery systems design and integration.
• Experience supporting the technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.
• Experience in different phases of aerospace hardware development cycle.
• Citizenship requirement to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop battery designs for the Test Missile Kit avionics subsystem.
• Perform/review electrical Worst Case Analysis and Electrical Parts Stress Analysis.
• Work on a cross-functional team in the development and integration of avionics systems.
• Resolve test anomalies and troubleshooting, and support product certification and system tests.
