Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Littleton, CO, seeks an Avionics Circuit Design Engineer to advance the D5LE2 Avionics subassembly for the FBM program. You will design and capture schematics, analyze worst-case conditions, and work with a cross-functional team to ensure integration and qualification of avionics hardware.

The role requires missile-design experience, an active DoD Secret clearance, and at least 1 year of professional experience. On-site, 9x80 schedule with no telework.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
• Active DoD Secret clearance; US citizenship required
• Experience in digital circuit design at card/board level
• 1+ years of professional engineering experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Missile design experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Design and capture electrical schematics and guide board layouts
• Perform Worst Case Analysis and Electrical Parts Stress Analysis
• Collaborate on cross-functional teams for avionics development and integration
• Support test activities and contribute to Product Certification documentation
