Job summary
Blue Origin LLC is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer II in the Greater Seattle Area to design analog instrumentation circuits and actuator electronics for rocket engines. You will translate system requirements into rugged, high-reliability electronics and manage work across the full lifecycle of avionics hardware.
You will apply expertise in Op-Amp circuits, signal integrity, and PCB layout, with opportunities to mentor junior engineers and lead design decisions in a collaborative team
Qualifications
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
- Hands-on analog/digital circuit design, testing and debugging experience.
- Expert knowledge of Op-Amp circuits used in instrumentation.
- Experience with signal integrity and board layout principles.
- Experience with motor drive circuits is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Electrical design of analog instrumentation measurement circuits for rocket engines.
- Electrical design of actuator circuits for solenoids or servo systems.
- Interpret requirements for electrical product development and DFx.
- Develop circuits, boards, and rugged hardware across the product life-cycle.
- Support FMECA, root-cause analysis, and design for test/manufacture.
- Manage design schedules and present program status.
