Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in Seattle, WA seeks an experienced electrical engineer to design mission avionics hardware for crew interfaces and habitability systems. You will define electrical interfaces, design circuit card assemblies, and own components through build, test and qualification.

The role requires hands-on debugging, lab bring-up, and collaboration with systems, mechanical, and software teams to deliver robust, safe spaceflight hardware.

Qualifications

• B.S. in electrical engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in high-reliability electronics with board/box design and test.
• Release-quality artifacts under configuration control and hands-on lab bring-up.

Responsibilities

• Develop avionics hardware and integrated assemblies for crew systems.
• Design analog and digital boards interfacing with microcontrollers and actuators.
• Collaborate across systems, mechanical, software and quality teams.
• Support FMECA, DFx, root-cause analysis, and release to production.
