Job summary

Precision Castparts is seeking a hands-on Automation & Controls Engineer to lead the integration of Industry 4.0 manufacturing equipment into a unified, data-enabled ecosystem at a new aerospace fastener facility. You will oversee PLC programming, machine connectivity, and reliable data capture across production systems.

Qualifications

4–7+ years of experience in industrial automation and controls.
Strong PLC programming experience with Allen-Bradley or Siemens.
Experience with industrial networking and machine integration.

Responsibilities

Lead integration of CNC, rolling, robotics into plant-wide networks.
Develop and troubleshoot PLC logic and HMI interfaces.
Deploy sensors and ensure data accuracy across assets.
Support installation, testing, and ramp-up of new equipment.
Drive continuous improvement including future automation and ML plans.
