Qualifications

BSEE required.
5+ years of experience as Automation and Controls Engineer in Manufacturing Environment.
Experience with AutoCAD Electrical.
Experience with troubleshooting and program modifications on PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Emerson, Siemens).
Experience with Ignition (tags, dashboards, historizing data, MES communication).
Knowledge of IT/OT protocols and cybersecurity practices.
Strong project management and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain an Automation/Industry 4.0 roadmap aligned with strategic goals.
Identify standard components and technologies across facilities.
Draft electrical control system specifications and equipment modifications.
Improve equipment by meeting operating standards and security policies.
Oversee OT/IT collaboration for secure plant networks.
Drive PLC logic modifications and vision/motion control enhancements.
Support maintenance with diagnostics and escalation for complex malfunctions.
Apply predictive maintenance to improve uptime and monitoring.
Maintain electrical drawings and documentation.
